This is a highly sought-after role for a dynamic individual who will oversee the finance function in our Indian subsidiary as well as provide strategic support to our UK and International Commercial teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor audits; prepare internal audit reports; ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage accounting-related issues; review financial details; meet legal requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets; review company financial reports; identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Control income, cash flow, and expenditure; collect, interpret, and review financial information.
  • Produce financial reports on budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, and key metrics.
  • Minimize financial risk through strategy development and process implementation.
  • Manage procurement, stock, debtors, creditors, payroll, and ROC compliances.
  • Analyse monthly MIS reports; ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.

Financial Analyst: Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metric tracking for both the Indian business and the wider UK/International business.

  • Daily sales reporting; analysing financial data; creating/maintaining financial models; preparing leadership reviews.
  • Identify trends; make recommendations for improvements; represent Finance within the UK Commercial team.
  • Participate in project teams; work closely with senior finance staff to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identify and drive process improvements; create standard and ad-hoc reports; tools, and dashboards.
Person Specification

Strong English language skills, qualified accountant, 5+ years experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.

  • International experience, management skills, liaison with internal and external stakeholders required.
  • Highly analytical; proven track record of delivering results; self-disciplined; focused on achieving goals.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; flexible approach to meet deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI and CRM systems beneficial.
