**Job Title:** Research Scientist

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled Research Scientist to lead and execute the development, optimization, and scale-up of robust, cost-effective, and regulatory-compliant chemical processes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and intermediates.

We are seeking a talented professional with expertise in synthesis, scale-up, impurity profiling, and technology transfer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in process development, innovation, and strategic planning, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation by designing synthetic routes that align with project timelines and regulatory requirements, contributing to technology differentiation strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support integrated drug development solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development: Perform route scouting, literature search, and develop robust and scalable chemical processes using QbD principles.
  • Laboratory Experiments: Conduct laboratory experiments for reaction optimization, impurity profiling, and process safety assessment.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare and review technical reports, SOPs, and technology transfer documents.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP and EHS standards during lab-scale and pilot-scale operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
  • 3–9 years of experience in Process R&D, preferably in CDMO organizations
  • Hands-on expertise in synthesis, scale-up, impurity profiling, and technology transfer
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, NMR)
