Role Description for a Content Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Content Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and creating engaging content for various marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop in-depth, rich content on devotional and mythology topics, as well as translate existing content into Hindi and English.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on trending keywords, gaps in online content, and relevant trends to create fresh content for Indian and global users.
  • Quality Management: Establish content quality benchmarks and ensure the quality of published content meets expectations.
  • Collaboration and Project Management: Work with the editorial team to create a monthly and seasonal editorial calendar, commission articles from freelance and in-house writers, and oversee the editing and rewriting process.
  • SEO Optimization: Ensure all published content is SEO-friendly and reader-friendly.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver efficient results and oversee artwork, design, and photography for web content.

Requirements:

  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Experience with SEO optimization and content creation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
