About the Job

This is a key position for a skilled data engineer with experience in software development methods, including Agile/Scrum. The ideal candidate will work with our data engineering team on designing, developing, and operating data warehouses and data platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and operate data warehouses and data platforms using Python programming language.
  • Tune databases and SQL queries to meet performance objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide operational support for post-production deployment.
  • Work with cloud providers like AWS, containerization, and container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data warehouses & ETL tools, debugging sophisticated issues across various ETL platforms, and databases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or experience working on data engineering projects/platforms.
  • Good knowledge and experience in distributed computing frameworks like Spark.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering or equivalent technical background and experience.
