Job Opportunity: Mainframe Z/OS Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Mainframe Z/OS Administrator. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining z/OS operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Installation and Configuration: Install and configure the z/OS operation system and maintenance rollout for z/OS.
  • Basic OS Components Knowledge: Strong knowledge on various basic OS components including ISV products.
  • I/O Configuration Changes: Ability to make I/O configuration changes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Storage Management: Administration and configuration of IBM Mainframe Storage Servers (EMC) and DLm.
  • Support for System Setup: Support for IODF/ IOCDS Creation for new Systems, Storage Configuration, Storage Policies. Implementation & I/O Configuration through HCD.
  • Storage Software Tools: Strong knowledge on storage related software/tools installation, configuration and maintenance rollout.
  • Data Migration Activity: Handle Data migration activity & review DASD Clean up activity.
  • Tape Library Management: Storage Management using DFSMS & Tape Library Management.
