Senior Applications Developer

This position is responsible for managing the full systems life cycle, from analysis and design to testing and implementation. The role participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for applications development initiatives.

The position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. It collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.

  • Performs systems analysis and design.
  • Designs and develops complex applications.
  • Develops application documentation.
  • Produces integration builds.
  • Performs maintenance and support.
  • Supports emerging technologies and products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience with Oracle database management systems.
  • Writing and optimizing PL/SQL statements.
  • Excellent on LINUX ADMIN and Shell Scripting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development tools.
  • Developing stored procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Collaborating with other developers and project managers.
  • Conducting performance tuning of PL/SQL queries.
  • Strong on database design principles and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge on Linux Admin.
  • Knowledge of C/Pro*C preferable.
  • Knowledge of Mainframe (COBOL).
  • Knowledge of VB.NET, .NET.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or International equivalent.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred.
