Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reports, and analyzing account balances.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with the management team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Process:

Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions. Analyze and reconcile account balances.

2. Reconciliation & Auditing:

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Reconcile payment gateway receipts to ensure accuracy. Audit vendor invoices for errors and compliance.

3. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management:

Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments. Maintain vendor payment schedules and accurate records. Conduct vendor account reconciliations and address any issues.

4. Accounts Receivable & Billing:

Issue and manage customer sales invoices. Monitor receivables and maintain aging reports to ensure timely collections.

5. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies. Maintain and organize accurate financial records. Assist in internal and external audits.

6. Operational & Ad-Hoc Activities:

Support daily financial operations essential for business continuity. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • CPA qualification or at least two CPA subjects cleared.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
