Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team. This role will involve performing engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers). They will also be able to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on field instruments and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for instrumentation maintenance.
  • Analyze data from predictive and condition monitoring tasks to optimize asset performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Experience with SAP PM Module and Asset Performance Management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification: University Degree in Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical or related full-time university degree.

Experience: 5-10 years
