Chief Financial Operations Manager

The Senior Financial Manager will lead the financial operations of our organization, overseeing key functions such as financial reporting, book closure, ERP management, costing, and statutory compliance. This critical role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruptions to the business.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND-AS/IFRS), providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and sub-ledgers, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Audit Management

• Lead statutory and internal audits, coordinating with external auditors, internal auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of audit findings.
• Implement and monitor corrective actions arising from audit findings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Compliance & Regulatory

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other local laws, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Prepare and file required financial documents, returns, and reports with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submission and minimizing penalties or fines.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls for financial closure, ensuring process compliance and identifying areas for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and drive automation and efficiency improvements, streamlining financial operations and reducing manual errors.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and accounting principles, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
• Have a deep understanding of production processes, implementing costing processes, and developing robust ERP systems to support business growth and expansion.

Budgeting & Forecasting Support

• Assist the CFO in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning, providing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
• Analyze variances and provide insights for cost control and performance improvement, helping to optimize resource allocation and maximize ROI.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance team across accounting, payables, receivables, and taxation, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and competencies, ensuring the finance team has the necessary expertise to support business objectives.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

• CA / CPA / CMA degree, with 7–12 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and audit coordination in manufacturing entities.
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is preferred, with hands-on knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, and ERP management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of audit processes and regulatory compliance, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• High-level communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills, with ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering-driven industry, with hands-on experience with inventory accounting, costing, and ERP management.
