Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to support our Production/Stage/Development Oracle EBS environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administering, monitoring, cloning, patching, backup and restore of Oracle EBS.

This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and components, including knowledge of RAC, ASM, WebLogic Administration, PLSQL, SQL, Load balancing, PCP, Configurators, JVMs, archiving and purging tools like HP Archiving, SOA gateway, ekanban knowledge is add on. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with OEM Tool, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backup & restore activities, OS parameters and settings, UNIX shell scripting, performing (DB + Application) Patch Analysis & Applying Patches.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written, and willingness to work in 24*7 shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily health checks for production environment, identifying performance bottlenecks and working on to fix them.
  • Provide regular DBA support using tools like Serena or ServiceNow.
  • Plan for instance growth requirements.
  • Knowledge of cloud (OCI & Azure).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8-12 years Oracle Experience
  • Good knowledge in the latest versions of Oracle database/E Business suite architecture and components (19c, 12. 2 EBS etc. )
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Science with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or any related field)
