Senior Security Operations Specialist Role

This is a key position within the organization that requires detecting and responding to security incidents across the company.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop use cases to identify potential organizational risks and threats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and eradicate threats
  • Coordinate incident response activities and provide technical expertise
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute to team initiatives

This role also involves participating in an on-call rotation, which includes some after-hours responsibilities and escalations. A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this position.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in security operations
  • Familiarity with SIEM and analytics tools like Securonix, Sentinel, or Splunk
  • Ability to define thresholds, logic, and conditions to reduce false positives
  • Skills in creating and optimizing KPI/KRI reports
