Are you a skilled physics researcher seeking a new challenge? We are looking for an expert in the field to collaborate with our team on advancing AI systems.

Role Overview:

We need researchers with strong analytical backgrounds to help fine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs). Your work will focus on improving LLMs' ability to understand complex physics problems, including multi-step conceptual or quantitative questions in areas like mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum theory.

Research Objectives:

  • Develop strategies to improve model weaknesses related to physics concepts.
  • Enhance training and evaluation workflows for LLMs in STEM fields.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold a PhD or postdoctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
  • Have a strong track record of solving advanced physics problems with clear and structured reasoning.
  • Be able to communicate complex topics clearly and provide precise feedback.
  • Work independently in a remote research environment and participate actively in team discussions.
  • Have access to a reliable computer and internet setup to participate in remote assignments.
