The role of Senior Manager-Infra requires strategic thinking to design and govern the organization's global IT infrastructure and cloud landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive blueprint for the global infrastructure and cloud architecture.
  • Align designs with business continuity, scalability, cybersecurity, and performance objectives.
  • Promote platform rationalization and simplification initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Design infrastructure solutions for large-scale programs, including data center transformation, Active Directory consolidation, and hybrid cloud migration.
  • Evaluate and approve high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), and bill of materials (BoM) submitted by partners or internal teams.
  • Ensure architecture compliance in global IT programs.
  • Explore emerging technologies like Zero Trust, Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Edge Computing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Develop proof-of-concept initiatives and guide technology adoption.
  • Oversight of architecture principles, standards, and reference models to ensure consistency.
  • Conduct regular architecture reviews and design approval boards.
  • Guarantee compliance with information security (InfoSec), Good eXtensible Practice (GxP), and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) frameworks.
Specialized Knowledge Requirements:
  • Detailed expertise in enterprise architecture across compute, storage, network, identity, and cloud domains.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid models.
    • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance mapping to infrastructure design.
    • Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).
    • Awareness of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), and regulatory requirements in pharma/life sciences.
