Sr. Software Engineer - Expert in Modern Web Development


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our team of experts in modern web development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications using the latest technologies and frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing web applications that meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.
  • Leading the development team in implementing best practices in software engineering, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and developing complex web applications using modern frameworks such as Angular and React JS.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, its benefits, and quirks.
  • Experience in building ADA and WCAG compliant web applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, messaging frameworks, and event-based architecture.
  • Understanding of multi-tier web development, server-side technologies, and databases.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization workflows using concepts like JWT.
  • Proficiency in Quality engineering and experience working with Quality leads to define processes and technologies.
  • Passion for improving code quality using approaches such as unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Deep knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery and toolsets that provide this ability.
  • Understanding of agile principles and methodologies and experience implementing and adapting them to fit the team's needs.
  • Use and understand Git based source control systems.
  • Tech Stack: Java 11+, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, SQL and no SQL databases, REST API, Angular 11+
