We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AS400 Engineer/Technical Lead to spearhead our IBM i-based applications testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess 4-8 years of experience in manual and automated testing, with expertise in IBM i-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute comprehensive test cases for IBM i-based applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing across functional and technical layers, ensuring seamless integration and user acceptance.
- Conduct thorough system integration and user acceptance testing, identifying and documenting defects for collaborative resolution with development teams.
- Analyse test outcomes using cognitive and analytical techniques to drive improvements and ensure consistency and traceability across test environments and data sets.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries and a minimum of 1 year of P&C domain experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of AS400, P&C, Property & Casualty, Insurance, Manual Testing, Automation Testing, and SQL is essential.
- Experience working with IBM i-based applications is necessary.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are critical for success.
