Job Opportunity:

Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our team. This role will involve managing the sourcing of software, IT tools, licenses, subscriptions, IT infrastructure solutions, and professional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet business needs.
  • Manage the acquisition of software, IT tools, licenses, subscriptions, IT infrastructure solutions, marketing agencies, and outsourcing service partners.
  • Supervisor supplier management processes, including evaluation, identification, and selection of suppliers/vendors.
  • Approve purchase orders and manage procurement budgets to ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize procurement performance.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments (IT, Marketing, Finance, Category teams) to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Perform risk assessments on supplier contracts and agreements, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Analyze procurement data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supplier performance and procurement effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is an asset.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of work experience, with at least 3-4 years in IT/e-commerce procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in supplier management software and procurement tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make informed decisions quickly, and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
