International Trade Sales Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced International Trade Sales Specialist to join our team at Cloud Counselage Pvt Ltd.
Job OverviewThis is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in sales and business development, particularly in the area of international trade. The successful candidate will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in EXIM (Export-Import) sales and business development, supporting our sales team in identifying opportunities, prospecting clients, and executing export and import transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential export and import opportunities in target markets, analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
- Lead Generation: Assist in prospecting and qualifying leads for export and import opportunities, utilizing various channels such as online research, cold calling, and networking events to identify potential clients and opportunities.
- Client Outreach: Support the sales team in reaching out to prospective clients, introducing our company's products or services, and scheduling meetings or presentations to discuss potential business opportunities.
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals for client meetings, and assisting in maintaining CRM databases and tracking sales activities.
- Documentation Assistance: Learn about export and import documentation requirements, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, and assist in preparing and processing documentation to facilitate trade transactions.
- Sales Follow-Up: Follow up with clients after meetings or presentations to gather feedback, address questions or concerns, and move forward with the sales process, maintaining communication and building relationships with clients to nurture leads and opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, finance, and legal, to support the execution of export and import transactions, coordinating with team members to ensure smooth communication and alignment on sales objectives.
- Learning and Development: Take initiative to learn about international trade regulations, customs procedures, INCO terms, and trade finance concepts, seeking opportunities to shadow experienced sales professionals and gain insights into sales strategies and best practices.
- Interest in Sales: Genuine interest in sales and business development, with a desire to learn and grow in a sales-oriented role, eagerness to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of the sales team.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, build rapport with clients, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Research Skills: Strong research skills to gather information about markets, industries, and potential clients, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends or opportunities relevant to international trade sales.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in preparing sales materials, documentation, and reports, with the ability to maintain organized records and follow up on tasks in a timely manner.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, tasks, and environments in a dynamic sales environment, with the ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge and skills to support sales objectives.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with team members, share ideas, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, willingness to support colleagues and pitch in to achieve team goals.
- Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for data entry, document preparation, and presentation purposes.
