Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain professional to join our team in Emerging Markets. The ideal candidate will have expertise in order management, supply chain visibility, and IT automation.

  • Ownership of orders for regional sales teams within a defined customer service framework to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Prioritization of demand/orders/customers based on key parameters.
  • Verification of demand with available POs, LCs, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, IL checks, manufacturing license checks, minimum shelf-life requirements, pre-shipment documents, and timelines to ensure compliance.
  • Monitoring of order status in our systems and gathering information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
  • Highlighting potential issues that may impact defined timelines and taking end-to-end ownership of assigned orders for the region.
  • Coordination of documentation related to shipments with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaboration with logistics teams to plan shipments and mitigate risks/delays proactively to avoid demurrage/penalties.
  • Attendance at relevant meetings to discuss open orders, their status updates, and address bottlenecks impacting priority orders.
  • Identification and resolution of issues (e.g., artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity) with sales teams and stakeholders.
  • Prioritization of orders/customers based on defined parameters and engagement with key stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, preferably in pharma.
  • Ability to analyze areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Familiarity with SAP is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Negotiation skills, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and ability to work around constraints.
  • Excellent time management and customer service skills.
