Job Summary:

The Apparel Buyer plays a key role in developing and executing a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand identity and drives sales growth. This position involves trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.
  • Make data-driven purchasing decisions, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Develop competitive pricing models in line with market trends and financial goals.
  • Regularly review sales data, adjust strategies, and report findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Work with marketing teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of apparel buying experience in retail.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and buying/planning software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
