Lead UI Designer

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead UI Designer to join our team. As the Lead UI Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and seamless experience of our digital products.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, building a scalable design system, adept with working with an Agile methodology and the ability to translate complex requirements into elegant and user-friendly designs.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of UI designers, developing and implementing design strategies, creating high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and visual assets for different applications, maintaining and evolving design systems and style guides, conducting design reviews, collaborating with UX designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, and ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, usability, and aesthetics.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI design and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
