Job Title: E-commerce Quality Assurance Specialist

Experience Level: Mid-Level/Senior

Department: QA/Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA specialist with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and Analyze System Specifications
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to Ensure Quality Throughout the Development Lifecycle
  • Design and Execute Test Cases
  • Perform Regression, Functional, Integration, and UI Testing for E-commerce Features
  • Identify, Document, and Track Bugs
  • Validate Fixes and Conduct Re-Testing as Needed
  • Work Closely with Developers and Product Managers to Resolve Issues
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement of QA Processes and Documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of Experience as a Manual QA Tester
  • Proven Experience Testing E-commerce Platforms or Applications
  • Strong Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle
  • Hands-On Experience with Test Case Management Tools
  • Experience Working with Issue Tracking Tools like JIRA
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work Independently and in a Team Environment
  • Familiarity with Cross-Browser and Mobile Testing

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in API Testing using Postman or Similar Tools
  • Familiarity with Databases and Ability to Write Basic SQL Queries
  • Knowledge of Automation Tools is a Plus but Not Required
  • Exposure to Platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or Custom-Built E-commerce Systems
