Mobile Tester Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tester to join our team in India.

  • Develop the scope of testing within each release or delivery context.
  • Provide status updates to Test Leads or Managers.
  • Support the testing team.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, functional leads, and Development teams.
  • Contribute to test planning and manage the testing effort for any given release.
  • Design test scenarios and cases.
  • Bug tracking and reporting.
  • Defect coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define testing scope within each release or delivery context.
  • Ensure effective communication with Team Leaders and Managers.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with Testing Teams.
  • Facilitate seamless interactions with Business Analysts and Development Teams.
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities for each release.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  • Track and report bugs efficiently.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing.
  • Good experience in API testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC phases and methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and cases in structured environments.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects.
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics.
  • Advantage to have experience in mobile testing tools.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Implement effective managerial and testing techniques.
  • Ability to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements to test specs.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experienced in preparing test data, test cases, and test execution.
