Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Automation Frameworks: Create scalable and efficient automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
  • Develop Mobile Automation Tests: Write clean and maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript for mobile devices.
  • Implement BDD Scenarios: Use Cucumber/Gherkin to implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios, if required.
  • Integrate Automated Test Suites: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Conduct API and Integration Testing: Conduct thorough API and integration testing using relevant tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid understanding of mobile automation using Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, and integration.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios, if the tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
