As an Invoicing Professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial accuracy of our operations by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

About the Position:

You will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices to customers and meeting the invoice delivery deadlines. This includes entering invoices into customer invoicing platforms, submitting invoices by electronic data interchange, and understanding key areas in invoicing specific to each customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers
  • Meet the invoice delivery deadlines
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing platforms
  • Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
  • Understand key areas in invoicing specific to each customer
  • Verify each field on the invoices before submission
  • Ensure all support and backups are in place and attached to invoices
  • Timely update on invoice submission status in accounting systems
  • Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference
  • Work closely with the finance and invoicing team to expedite the invoice submission process
  • Send out statements of accounts to customers
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, any discrepancies in billing/payment to be resolved and ensure AR hygiene
  • Handle invoice rejections and credits/rebills
  • Maintain SOPs for the complete invoicing process account-wise and update them regularly
  • Provide continuous support for improving platforms for invoicing
  • Assist credit control in invoicing and collection of payment
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in invoicing is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table) is necessary.
  • Good analytical and process knowledge is required.
  • Good accounting knowledge is also required.
