Production Planning and Control Executive

This role involves overseeing the production planning and control process to ensure smooth operations, compliance with quality standards, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ERP systems, analytical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales and operational requirements.
  • Forecast raw material, packaging, and manpower requirements.
  • Monitor capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
Material Planning & Coordination:
  • Share detailed material requirements with procurement teams.
  • Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure timely supply of raw and packaging materials.
  • Track material lead times and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) availability.
Inventory Management:
  • Maintain optimal levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and implement optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure storage compliance with food safety standards.
Production Control:
  • Track production progress and ensure schedule adherence.
  • Identify deviations, delays, and initiate corrective measures.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
MIS Reporting & Analytics:
  • Generate accurate MIS reports and dashboards using ERP systems.
  • Analyze plant performance metrics (efficiency, delivery, inventory turnover).
  • Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to streamline reporting processes.
Resource Management & Process Improvement:
  • Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
