Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Energy Conservation Specialist to join our team in Chennai. As an Energy Conservation Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the energy efficiency of HVAC systems in various locations across South India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough performance assessments of HVAC low-side and high-side equipment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports highlighting energy-saving opportunities and abnormalities, providing actionable insights for the Operations and Maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with the O&M team to enhance chiller efficiency and develop strategies for optimizing energy consumption.
  • Support Service Engineers in collecting HVAC-related data, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis.
  • Conduct Infrared thermography studies to detect hotspots in chiller panels, enabling proactive maintenance and reducing downtime.
  • Assist the team in identifying Low- and Medium-cost (L&M) opportunities, contributing to the company's sustainability goals.
  • Provide technical expertise to execute L&M projects and implement energy conservation measures, driving business value and environmental responsibility.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as an Energy Conservation Specialist at Johnson Controls, you should have:

  • A strong background in energy auditing, HVAC engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting performance assessments and developing recommendations for energy-efficient solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
