Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance: Oversee global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and other indirect taxes. Africa exposure is required.">
  • Tax Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's global tax position. Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives across different countries.">
  • Tax Accounting & Reporting: Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in the financial statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 740, IFRS).">
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks through robust controls and processes. Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, ensuring favorable outcomes.">
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of tax professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.">

Qualifications:

  • CA/CS/CMA/ACCA/CFA/CPA, Law, or a related field.">
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience.">
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.">
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems.">
