Hotel Financial Leadership Role

This position oversees the financial department of our new hotel and plays a key part in its success.

As a member of the leadership team, the role champions property-wide strategies that deliver products and services meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

The role provides financial expertise to enable successful implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops means to improve profit by estimating costs and benefits, exploring new opportunities, etc.
  • Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses, and creates annual budget plans.
  • Compiles information, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales.
  • Identifies underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down data into separate parts.
  • Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute, and implement new business plans.

Leading Finance Teams

  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial decision making.
  • Communicates strategic goals and priorities to subordinates in a clear and precise manner.
  • Leverages strong functional leadership and communication skills to influence executive teams and lead own teams.

Requirements

  • CA/MBA/Masters degree with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years experience in accounting preferably with the hotel industry
