Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Operations Specialist to lead our cloud infrastructure projects and teams. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the provisioning and deployment of Microsoft Azure VMs and databases.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Azure Services Expertise: Utilize automation tools to streamline cloud operations, leveraging expertise in JIRA for project management, Microsoft Azure services, including Identity Management, Active Directory (AD), ADLS, Blob Storage, Data Factory, and Data Bricks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams across end-to-end cloud operations, including database operations, data ingestion, business intelligence, and Azure Databricks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop and maintain collaborative cross-functional relationships to ensure efficient resolution of work requests, guide the team in troubleshooting cloud, network, and infrastructure-related issues, and create comprehensive systems documentation and user guides.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • JIRA Expertise: Strong knowledge of JIRA for project management.
  • Azure Services: Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Identity Management, Active Directory (AD), ADLS, Blob Storage, Data Factory, and Data Bricks.
  • Azure DevOps: Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines with scripting languages such as Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, and ARM Templates.
  • Data Lakes and Warehouses: Experience in data lakes and data warehouses, ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Message Queuing Technologies: Familiarity with message queuing technologies like Kafka, Confluent, and Active MQ.
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving: Proven experience in leading teams and managing cloud infrastructure projects, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification: Certification in Microsoft Azure or related technologies.
  • Cloud Migration Experience: Experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Database Security: Knowledge of database security best practices.
