Job Title: Cloud Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of cloud-based applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to streamline operations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Manage cloud costs by optimizing resource utilization and implementing efficient scaling strategies.
  • Implement security best practices, including access control and vulnerability management to protect cloud-based assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain and improve logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a cloud-centric environment.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with expertise in migration and optimization strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) and scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing to enhance scalability and agility.
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring best practices to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards to maintain a secure cloud environment.
