Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated conversational AI expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and deploying conversational AI experiences using Amazon Lex V2.

  • The role is central to a platform migration initiative and requires deep expertise in building scalable, production-grade Lex bots.
  • The successful candidate should be comfortable owning the full lifecycle of Lex bot development from intent and slot design to deployment and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining intents, utterances, and slots for conversational AI systems.
  • Setting up multi-turn conversations to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Managing session attributes, context control, and fallback strategies to ensure robust conversation flows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Lex V2.
  • Strong understanding of Lex console and API interfaces.
  • Experience integrating Lex with AWS Lambda for dynamic responses and Amazon Cognito for user authentication.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, API Gateway, and JSON payload handling.
  • Familiarity with Lex Knowledge Base setup and exposure to logging and monitoring via CloudWatch.
  • Awareness of security and access control for bot workflows.
