Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our network infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center networking, specifically in the private cloud & virtualization domain. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, including L2/L3 technologies, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cloud Network Architecture: Design, install, maintain, and manage equipment for Cloud Network Infrastructure, including physical and SDN network framework.
  2. High Availability and Performance: Ensure high levels of availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  3. Infrastructure Documentation: Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  4. Collaboration and Team Management: Work collaboratively with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests. Oversee a team of Network Engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
  5. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Proactively monitor and analyze key performance and capacity metrics to assess risks and provide recommendations.
  6. Solution Presentations and Proposals: Prepare, review, and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  7. Proof of Concept and Technical Validation: Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concept.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer etc.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching technologies, Network monitoring Protocols & Tools, and SDN Technologies.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
