Process Improvement Leader

This role will spearhead the implementation of lean methodologies to boost efficiency and reduce waste. The position will lead strategic process improvement projects, deploying techniques such as definition, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.

The primary objective is to optimize facility utilization, streamline workflow, and collaborate with colleagues to design efficient workstations and processes. This will significantly impact our ability to enhance on-time performance and working capital.

  • Facilitate groups & individuals across all functions to identify quality improvement projects, focusing on key business processes and methodologies.
  • Communicate progress to the champion and steering committee teams, implementing best practices and WCM methods.
  • As a Six Sigma coach, provide expert advice and assistance to Green Belts, Process Owners, and Team Members in statistics, change management, and process design strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and influencing teams through education and communication to adopt new methodologies.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to identify high-impact improvement opportunities and their business champions.
  • Tracking and reporting project results, ensuring improved processes remain effective.
  • Leading multi-disciplined teams in addressing quality issues and executing systemic improvement projects.
  • Preparing weekly, monthly reports, and facilitating data analysis using analytical tools.
  • Conducting refresh training for shop floor personnel on Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control tools.
  • Driving savings and improvement projects through Lean, Six Sigma, and safety initiatives.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 4-7 years of experience, with 3+ years of LEAN & Six Sigma experience.
  • Black Belt Certification is advantageous.
  • Strong business acumen, fast learner, self-motivated, and disciplined.
  • Strong facilitation skills, analytical techniques, and proficiency in various tools, including Kanban, 5S, visual management, Poka-Yoke methods, VSM, and pull systems.
