As a seasoned system engineer, we're seeking an expert who can architect and maintain scalable systems while embodying the agility of a startup. The ideal candidate will join our team to enhance our systems, making them industry-leading in efficiency, stability, observability, velocity, and scale within the e-commerce space.

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of our system as part of our Cloud Enablement journey, while maintaining critical legacy tools.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and platform experts to optimize and develop repeatable systems for mutual leverage.
  • Help service owners establish realistic service-level objectives (SLOs), set service-level agreements (SLAs), and error budgets, ensuring reliability is built into production service design.
  • Provide timely production support and creatively resolve complex engineering challenges across our tech stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications

We seek candidates with:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, or software development, with a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms GCP, AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with server-side software engineering (Python, Go, Java, BASH, etc.).
  • Design experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, focusing on performance monitoring and tracing instrumentation, as well as SLI/SLO/SLAs.
