Energy Storage System Architect

We are seeking an experienced hardware architect to lead the design and development of building management systems (BMS) for energy storage applications.
- Develop BMS HW systems with exposure to state-of-the-art designing, layout, compliance, and EMI-EMC aspects.
- Own the responsibility of delivering modules/systems on-time, at quality.
- Work in a customer-facing role providing solutions to complex use cases on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering (EEE).
- 12-14 years of experience in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS.
Key Skills:
- Power Electronics concepts for BMS.
- Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs.
- Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries (UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730, etc).
- PB layout constraints and Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries.
- Simulation tools (P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad), FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Power Supply Design.
- MOSFET driving and hardware peripherals and communication ckt design.
Preferred Skills:
- Safety Regulatory standards (IEC61508, ISO26262).
- Contactors and Relays.
- Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products.
