Physical Security Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations of a facility's physical security by implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Crisis Management teams to develop crisis management protocols, including emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Maintain proper identification and authorization procedures for front desk security operations.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain security systems including Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management.
  • Assist with coordinating security logistics and risk assessments for international travel.
  • Provide support and guidance to 3rd party security teams during extended coverage periods.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, providing essential support during incident activation and response.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in physical security operations, crisis management, emergency services, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a security systems IT oriented role, including experience supporting security systems such as access control, CCTV, visitor management, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Indirect leadership experience
  • Experience training/educating individuals on policy and procedure
  • Knowledge of risk assessments, threat analysis, and emergency preparedness
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
