As an Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated automation frameworks and robust test suites for web, mobile, and API applications using Playwright, Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, and more.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks and test suites for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Implement test strategies powered by agentic AI and large language models (LLMs).
  • Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to define intelligent test coverage leveraging AI-driven agents, automated defect tracking, and dynamic reporting.
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline integration for scalable automation; lead improvements in reliability, maintainability, and rapid feedback cycles.
  • Investigate bugs, debug applications, and automate root cause analysis through LLM-powered workflows and agentic testing solutions.
  • Mentor junior QA and automation engineers and participate in code and design reviews.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Java or a similar language; mastery with test automation tools.
  • Proven experience designing and building scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Very strong expertise with test automation of Web Apps, complex APIs, Mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing.
  • Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and maintaining high coverage and rapid feedback.
  • Knowledge of agentic testing applications, practical use of LLMs and AI in testing.
  • Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and structured test reporting.
  • Thorough grasp of SDLC, Agile practices, QA methodologies, and team collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-5 years hands-on experience in SDET/test automation roles.
