Accounting Specialist Position

This role is perfect for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage financial transactions, analyze financial reports, and collaborate with a team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Plan, assign, and review staff's work
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP principles

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA)
  • General computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Multitasking capacity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
