As a Mainframe Test Engineer, you will utilize JCL, COBOL, SQL, and automation tools such as Rest Assured or Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber using Java to test mainframe systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies
  • Providing accurate estimations and writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs
  • Understanding CI/CD and DevOps - Jenkins
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with the global team/stakeholders on allocated activities
  • Strong analytical capability is required to make informed decisions
  • Effective stakeholder management is necessary to achieve project goals
  • Ability to perform testing independently is essential
  • Knowledge of JIRA and good understanding of Banking Industry are required

Requirements include 4-8 years of experience in QA manual and automation, with prior experience on Mainframe testing.
