We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Modernization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Platform Support under Information Services, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our strategy for the availability of our Mainframe environment through the adoption of modern philosophies and methodologies.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting from an automation perspective, as well as exposure to IDZ tools, Dependency Based Builds, and Jenkins server support. They should also be familiar with introducing infrastructure for REST APIs, making Z apps, and data key to a hybrid cloud strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in any stream
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as XLR Digital ai, UCD, Jenkins, and GitHub
  • Awareness of environments, applications, server connections, property definitions, templates, etc.
  • Experience with mainframe JCL, REXX, Batch Jobs, file systems, encoding, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and research-oriented approach
  • Good communication and time management skills
