We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our team of analysts supporting Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending operations. This role demands strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of CRE lending, and proven ability to drive collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor analysts processing CRE loan applications, credit documentation, and portfolio management.
- Ensure delivery in line with SLAs/KPIs with high accuracy.
- Track, review, and report team performance; conduct regular feedback and coaching.
- Enforce adherence to lending policy, standards, and criteria.
- Review and approve credit papers/documentation prior to submission.
- Support the use of front-end systems to monitor loan applications.
- Act as the single point of contact for client stakeholders.
- Manage escalations, provide operational updates, and lead process alignment discussions.
- Facilitate transparent communication between teams.
- Oversee collaboration with KYC and Financial Crime teams.
- Ensure compliance with UK banking regulations and client-specific policies.
- Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and present performance reports, dashboards, and insights.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or financial services.
Proven experience in leading teams and working with international banking clients.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent knowledge of CRE lending, credit documentation, and compliance.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
