Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee the execution of test plans and ensure high-quality software products.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires 3-5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of non-functional requirements, system and system integration testing, and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Keep test leads updated on tasks to ensure reporting remains current.
  • Assist in developing test plans, including documenting testing strategy, supporting test execution, defining defect management process, and assist with defect tracking.
  • Review and analyze Requirements specification, identify test conditions, create test designs, test cases, test procedure specifications, and test data.
  • Execute and log the tests, evaluate the results, and document problems found.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Understanding of defined testing processes.
  • Willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking - Capital Markets and or Wealth Management domains.
  • Experience in Wealth management, Trust accounting Domain having good knowledge in Trade life cycle, Income and Corporate actions, Sweep processing and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Web based application testing with complete architecture understanding.
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
  • Experience in Test Automation using Selenium, Java, Agile methodology.
