About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Create and maintain personal testing environments to facilitate efficient testing.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, and communicate product issues to stakeholders.
- Provide support to stakeholders prior to GA release of software, including acquiring and maintaining knowledge of existing products, operations or systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain test scripts to automate testing processes.
- Assist in the review of software development processes to improve product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 9-12 years' experience in software testing or a related field.
- Experience in the software or financial industry preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and relational databases.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, effective customer service skills, and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques, including the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems, with strong analytical and planning skills.
