Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled software packaging engineer to support the creation and deployment of applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with software tools like PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) and SCCM or Intune for deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repackage applications into MSI, MST or App-V formats
  • Create application packages using PSADT tool
  • Participate in testing and validation of application packages in lab and UAT environments
  • Document packaging steps, testing results and installation guidelines
  • Deploy through SCCM/Intune and resolve packaging-related issues
  • Coordinate with requestors or application owners for requirements gathering
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Installer technology
  • Highly experienced in packaging tools like Admin Studio, Installshield, Orca and troubleshooting tools like PicTaker, Beyond Compare, ACT, etc.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting & PSADT
  • Experience in SCCM/Intune for deployment
Behavioral Skills
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and eagerness to work in a structured IT environment
  • Good communication and documentation skills

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required. Proficiency in Windows OS and Windows Installer technology is essential. Additionally, expertise in PowerShell scripting, package management tools, and deployment solutions such as SCCM/Intune is necessary.
