Application Packaging Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the right packaging and delivery approach is used, depending on the application. This includes executing the steps of the application packaging process within Service Level Agreement limits, resolving incidents and requests related to packages, and liaising with change management, stakeholders, and vendors as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and delivery of applications using various tools and technologies.
  • Technical testing and documentation of applications.
  • Deployment and maintenance of packaged applications.
  • Incident resolution and request fulfillment.
  • Liaison with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, employing available setup commands/scripting and repackaging/customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield, RayPack, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Windows 11 and Active Directory Group Policies expertise.
  • PowerShell Scripting and VB scripting skills.
  • Microsoft Intune product family knowledge, including application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • ITIL-based operations environment experience using ServiceNow.
