About the Role

You will be working on projects involving financial data analysis, investment research, and risk modelling. You can choose to work on multiple mini-projects or take up a focused innovation-based research project.

Project experience is designed to provide practical exposure to data science in the context of asset management, trading, and financial technology. Problem statements, methodology, and sample solutions are provided to help you develop your solution.

Responsibilities include conducting data cleaning, wrangling, and pre-processing for financial datasets, assisting investment teams in equity research, fixed income research, portfolio management, and economic analysis, applying statistical techniques to financial problems, working with big data sources, and using Python, Excel, or R to analyse, visualize, and model financial data.

You will also participate in research projects related to quantitative trading, financial derivatives, and portfolio optimization.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to self-learn and work independently in a remote environment. No prior coding skills are required, and we permit the use of all LLMs/NLPs to help develop solutions.

Internship details: duration options include 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, or 6 months, with flexible timing and an unpaid internship type.
