Job Title: Finance Business Partner Apparel and EGF

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Apparel Business team. The successful candidate will work closely with the business team to prepare business plans, track monthly performance, and optimize costs and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the business team to create business plans and track monthly performance.
  • Understanding top-line opportunities for each business line.
  • Preparing and supporting the business during the SBP cycle with management team reviews.
  • Listing down key business initiatives for the SBP year.
  • Ensuring budget availability in SAP and creating budget swap proposals if required.
  • Monthly plan vs actual variance analysis and deriving deep insights.
  • Preparation and analysis of business forecasts - short-term and long-term.
  • Analysis of quantitative information relating to the business.
  • Participating in monthly business reviews with business heads.
  • Fixed overhead and capex tracking.
  • Monthly business scorecard reporting.
  • Supporting budget swaps if required for business needs.
  • Understanding non-budgeted requirements and preparing cases for justification approvals.
  • Pricing framework and decision support.
  • Capex/Revex proposal evaluation.
  • Evaluation of incentive schemes and proposing recommendations in line with business needs.
  • Purchase requisition validation and recommending approvals.
  • Participating as a finance CFT member for key business initiatives.
  • Breakthrough projects - support.
  • Initiating discussions and roadmaps on inventory liquidation plans - support.
  • Major vendor/customer support issues - coordination with controllership teams for smooth resolution of business issues/queries.
  • Preparing progress on business initiatives and linking it with business benefits.
  • Coordinating with central and finance teams to resolve any issues for the business.
  • Developing processes/mechanisms to coordinate with market teams.
  • Setting up working capital norms - tracking actuals.
  • Process key notes creation.
  • Simplification of approval processes for breakthrough projects.
  • Developing interpersonal relations with business teams - boundaryless collaboration.
  • Understanding related key rules and regulations relating to non-motorcycle business.
  • Developing product profitability charts - growth/GC matrix.
  • Using Power BI for data analysis.
  • Monthly/quarterly/yearly provisions.
  • Ordering norms validation.
  • Coordination with central & budgeting teams and controllership accounting/shared service teams.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Hands-on exposure in SAP.
  • High-level understanding of financial statements and interpretations of financial statements.
  • Expertise in using Google applications of spreadsheet/document/slides/google data studio.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working exposure in major auto OEM.
  • Urges of learning/ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle timely delivery pressure.
