Job Title

Purpose:

We seek an experienced land acquisition specialist to coordinate and monitor land acquisition across multiple regional sites. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Land Acquisition and Land Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor land acquisition progress and resolve land issues as a support function to the business team.
  • Monitor land acquisition progress and coordinate with regional teams.
  • Resolve land issues at multiple sites, including litigation related to title, encroachments, and exemptions from ceiling limits.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports to exhibit acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Collate and verify title search documents with the support of the legal team.
  • Manage stakeholders with land aggregators, regional land teams, business development teams, legal teams, project teams, and finance teams regarding land acquisition progress and land issue resolution.
  • Support regional teams in mutation, collection of original sale deeds, coordination with finance teams for fund release, and CAPEX budgeting.
  • Conduct site visits to regional land acquisition sites to monitor acquisition progress and support in resolving land issues.

Key Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of land laws.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation, submissions, government regulations, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Excel proficiency and preparation of MIS reports.
  • Ability to handle and navigate multiple projects.
  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and KMZ.

Experience:

7-12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Land Acquisition and Land Management.
