About the Role

\

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage end-to-end loan processing for our India operations. This role includes oversight of day-to-day activities, driving process improvements, and delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diligent duties as a checker for assigned activities.\
  • Work as a subject matter expert for the process.\
  • Nurture team members and provide guidance and support.\
  • Understand industry policies and adhere to company guidelines.\
  • Work closely with overseas teams to process transactions accurately and efficiently.\
  • Learn system functions and adhere to controls.\
  • Support overseas teams in resolving operational incidents and reporting issues.\
  • Provide suggestions to improve and streamline operational processes.\
  • Deliver high-quality service to enhance the function's reputation and meet customer expectations.\
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within our organization.\
  • Support and resolve customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.\
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines and assess the impact on daily operations workflow.\
  • Work in partnership with the wider operations team for information sharing and to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.\
  • To support developmental projects relating to the department.\
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing loan operations team, ensuring effective workload distribution, performance management, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\
  • Provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team. Assist in the training and development of individuals to ensure a high level of job knowledge.\
  • Perform checking process on operational issues escalated by less experienced members of the team.\
  • Perform reconciliation of any daily pending transactions.\
  • Support Head of Department in determining the level of support on new product offerings by carrying out reviews on resourcing issues, internal policies, workarounds, and system capabilities.\
  • Support Head of Department in achieving department's KPIs set by Management.\
  • Manage risk profile for the department.\
  • Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required.\
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations.\
  • Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.\
  • Timely submission of Statutory and MIS reports.\
  • Conduct necessary trainings to the team.\
  • Manage testing and new migrations.\
  • Take initiatives towards cost reduction, automation, and digitization.
