Unlock Business Value with Predictive Analytics as a Data Scientist

We are seeking an accomplished Data Scientist to join our Finance Analytics team. As a key member, you will develop and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytic solutions that drive business value and profitability.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with hands-on experience in data science initiatives. You should possess excellent analytical skills, strong programming expertise, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned data scientist to make a significant impact on our organization's growth strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain robust data assets that support analytics initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining production forecast modeling pipelines, including model monitoring and refitting models as needed
  • Collaborating with business partners to understand requirements and design effective solutions for complex business problems
  • Integrating data from multiple sources and building robust, cross-functional data assets to support analytics
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and accuracy of data and data gathering techniques

In addition, you will perform multivariate and exploratory data analysis, communicate key findings to colleagues and business partners, and utilize statistics and machine learning to build predictive models and tools supporting business initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Software Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with time series modeling
  • At least 2 years of experience in data science-related roles
  • Excellent data analysis and advanced data manipulation techniques using SQL
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Prior experience with predictive modeling, data visualization tools, and cloud-based technologies is highly desirable.
